Leica Leitz 3.5cm (35mm) f3.5 Elmar L39 M39 Screw Thread Lens - Chrome. Leitz 3.5cm f3.5, Late & Coated version in fair condition. All working well despite fault with focus lever. Optically near perfect for age. Please read the description below.

The focus lever will need some attention / replacing. The previous owner stated it was modified to allow focusing without the infinity lock. It appears to have also been glued down. Focusing is still possible and has good resistance. I have used the end of the lens barrel to grip. The lens is accurate and couples perfectly to the focusing cam in body. Optically the lens is excellent. Coating is a mix of purple & blue. No haze, fungus or separation. Under close scrutiny, the front element has the odd light coating a scratch. All shot on film this lens outputs excellent contrast, colours and sharpness.
