Leitz Wetzlar in the early 1938. This lens is compatible with both Leica-M, Leica-C and Voigtländer BESSA Cameras! It will also produce amazing results on the Micro 4/3 system being a 56mm close focusing lens! In exceptionally well preserved condition. But because I've seen hundreds of them and this one STANDS out!!

The BEST example I've ever had or seen! The only place where it shows age related marks is the rear side of the lens flange, where some chrome loss is present!

Glasses are free from scratches, even looking very closely, I cannot see any discernible cleaning marks! Some micro (literally micro) dust specks present, but in general, this lens is TOTALLY clean! Focusing and aperture work correctly. Insides are free from fungus or glass separation! Any suspiciously looking patterns in the images are light reflections!

Wide angle Elmar has become quite hard to get recently. So sorry, NO offers accepted. Starting price is the very minimum! Comes complete with both genuine brass chrome coated. Dust caps, and a decent condition A36 green filter - all made by Leitz!
