The ELPIK is a rare vintage collectable close-up lens for the Leica Elmar 5cm/50mm f/3.5 lens. The box calls this Vorsatzlinse 2, which in English means Ancillary Lens 2. One of three lenses designed to be used in conjunction with the Leitz BEOOY or BEHOO setting devices to supplement close focus for copy or macro photography, the ELPIK produces a 1:6 maximum reproduction ratio and functions in a range from 21.5 inches to 15.5 inches depending on the lens' focus point. This lens is in excellent condition. The glass is clean and clear with no visible marks or abrasions.
