In chrome finish, this lens comes with both black metal rear cap and an excellent Bakelite front cap which is complete with its original red felt and which has no cracks or nicks. Overall, this lens is in excellent condition, yes there are scratches here and there (at 82 years old, it's nearly impossible to find a really good example of this pre-war lens), but the focusing is very smooth, the aperture is also very smooth and easy to set, the diaphragm blades are clean and dry, and there appears to be no etching and the glass is very good.
