Leica Leitz Rare 135mm Elmar Non-Standard Lens No. 893 from 1930 Lovely

Rare first version Leica Leitz 135mm F4.5 Elmar lens. Non-Standard and matched to a body with serial number ending in 893. These were the only non-standardised bodies with these last three digits delivered as a set with a 135mm Elmar. Otherwise a very interesting collectible. Engraved in mm as it should be (later were in cm).

Fully original non-standardised and uncoupled with plain brass lens mount (no nickel ring). Glass is in remarkably good condition with slight misting, but the barrel has a bit of wear around the index arrow which as you would expect has no'o' (see photos). Aperture is fine - moves nicely. The engraving is in beautiful condition. Overall I would describe it as Ex+ condition. For a cap please see my separate auctions.
