BLACK Paint / Nickel ELMAR 1:4.5 F=13.5cm pre-1936 (Leitz EFERN). Rigid Telephoto / Portrait Lens in Leica LTM Screw Mount. In WELL PRESERVED used condition! Glasses are free from scratches, show light / hardly visible cleaning marks. Inside do show light hazing, but are free from fungus, glass separation Focusing and aperture work correctly, all 15 aperture blades are in sound condition!
Leitz EFERN: production started in 1931 and the first lenses were for non standardised. Cameras and supplied to match a particular camera. From 1932 they were standardised and also rangefinder coupled.
ONLY a fraction of early Leica lenses (nickel or black paint). Were made without a serial number, so they are very, very rare!! Sample images taken with this lens on Panasonic Lumix.
