Leitz Leica 50mm 1:3.5 Elmar Lens uncoated 1938. 427682 50mm 1:3.5 Elmar uncoated lens. The body is in chrome finish and showing some marking in places.

The optics are bright, some internal dust. Some marking to the front element and what looks to have been a little fungus removed from the rear element, the test results show that the optical performance has not really been effected by much if anything. The focusing and aperture rings operate smoothly. Aperture blades free of oil.

The test photos included were taken today on a Leica CL and show the excellent image quality still available with this classic Elmar lens.
