Beautiful Leitz 50mm Elmar lens - Leica M mount. The serial number dates the lens manufacture to 1958 and I would say quite hard to find one in this condition nowadays. The satin chrome metal finish is beautiful, as is the lens barrel that is clean, bright and shiny - evidence of light, careful use. Please see the images, gorgeous! I can see no scratches, scuffs or cleaning marks on the glass.

The optics do have some internal haze that may improve if professionally dismantled and cleaned. I have added some images using this lens at between f4 - f11. Full frame, untouched and directly from the card. Supplied with both caps, though the front push on cap is a bit scruffy, being a cheapo-repro aluminium copy. From a smoke free home.
