Leitz Leica L39 LTM Elmar 3.5/3.5cm Nickel CLOSE FOCUS version. Nickel Elmar 35mm 3.5cm f3.5.

Uncommon close focus version with focus down to 0.5m. Standardised lens (with the'0', which means it can be used on any LTM camera).

NOT rangefinder coupled whilst it interacts with the rangefinder it is not'coupled' with the rangefinder, so you set the focus manually. Lens had a full CLA by Vintech in 2019. Focus and aperture smooth, no fungus / separation. Minor scratches and some minor dirt inside which wasn't able to be removed with the CLA. This has no impact on images (see attached examples taken with this lens).

Early 11 o'clock mount position (rather than later 7 o'clock mount position), marked 35mm rather than 3.5cm. See attached pictures to see how it looks mounted on camera. Although this can be used with any LTM camera it would have originally been intended for a Leica I (interchangeable version). No serial number (Vintech stated that it was marked internally W120). At some point in the last 100 years the front has taken a knock, so there is slight distortion in the front knurled ring (between Leitz and f3.5).

This has no impact on the inner 19mm filter thread or the outer clamp on A36 mount. See sample picture with 19mm Leitz filter and SOOGZ (A36 to E39) adapter mounted. Please check all picture for condition including sample pictures taken with this lens.
