Leitz Leica Leica lll (1st year) + Nickel Elmar 50mm f3.5 + case

Leitz Leica 1933 Leica lll (1st year) + 1936 Nickel Elmar 50mm f3.5 + case. Nicely patinated 1933 Leica III from the first year of production. Vertical alignment just very slightly out.. Patch feinter than some but usable. Shutter sounds healthy but sticking on slow speeds from 20th down. Slight point depression to baseplate as shown and very slight and insignificant. Looser than normal but working closing catch to base.

In short very usable but needs a service ideally. Worn but in a rather appealing rather than battered way indicating much use and care. The lens number identifies it as 1936 and KUP.

Some slight haze and cleaning marks and cleanable grime from storage but mire than averagely clear and usable.
