Nagel Vollenda Folding Camera With Leitz Elmar 5cm f3.5 Lens & Case. A vintage Nagel Vollenda camera in working order and good condition. This rare varient is fitted with an uncoated Leitz Elmar 5cm f3.5 lens which is in good condition. There appears to be a vintage repair or modification on the bottom. Some cardboard has been attached and the reason is not known. I suspect it is there to deal with an old light-leak, so I suggest it is left alone.
I have not taken it off to explore the reason why it was attached. The shutter timings are accurate at all speeds.
There are some very minor cleaning marks to the front element of the lens which will not affect a photograph. The lens may have some minor fungus, or it may just be dust - it is difficult to tell. However, because it is an uncoated lens there is nothing for fungus to eat, so it cannot damage the lens.
It uses 127 film which may be difficult to obtain or process. When you receive the camera you may wonder how to close it.
