I have taken images with & without it against the sun, there is NO difference whatsoever. Focus from 1.5m (5ft), so it is an excellent Macro Focusing lens on a digital crop sensor cameras.On Lumix it focuses from approx 35cm! And its effective focal length changes to 216mm!
